This beer has a deep, complex flavor that admittedly took me a few sips to determine whether or not I liked it. The rich, roasted flavors of a traditional Stout is accented by a sharp hoppiness that adds a nice bite. I could easily enjoy a few more of these.

The label has a nice “down home” illustration of a warm, inviting atmosphere that is simple, clean but I feel portrays the image of the beer properly.

Notes: Nice dark color with a pail head that rose quickly but disipated quickly as well. Good flavor with a rich and slightly sweet aftertaste. A great beer to have with dinner!
I like the style of these labels and they seem to reach accross the entire brand. The stovepipe oven is my favorite element, but I don’t think the background works for me.
